Why This Is a Most Loved Workplace® Certified Job
Systemic Collaboration
Firstly, our product is consistently innovative and competitive, and we receive positive feedback from our customers regularly. Secondly, our management team is trusted and credible because they communicate transparently, keep their promises, and never deceive expectations. We have experienced both successes and failures in the past, but we always work together to find solutions to any challenging situation, supporting each other along the way. All business metrics are open to the team members, and we provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly digests, so the team is always confident about how things are going. We follow trends and create innovation: we are always looking for ways to improve our products and processes, we set aside time for innovation development cycles and internal hackathons, and we invest in team professional training to keep our knowledge and skills up to date. Lastly, we genuinely care about our team, and we make sure they know it. We express gratitude, empathy, and respect in all our interactions. YouScan has a unique internal culture that our former colleagues often say they miss.
Positive Vision for the Future
We believe that successful companies are built by like-minded individuals who share the same core values: – We trust – We make mistakes and learn – We are enthusiasts – We continuously improve – We are a team that shares results – We treat data ethically Our values have been formulated and updated in close collaboration with all the team members. We are honest and transparent with our employees, and our values and operating principles are based on what we believe in and how we make daily decisions. Our values help us maintain a culture of innovation and continuous development where everyone can contribute ideas, take responsibility for decisions, voice their opinions, grow, improve, and enjoy their work and life. They are integrated into the hiring process, performance management, and daily communication. We treat our culture as a product and fix any issues and bugs by providing training and feedback. We also recognize that values can change with external influences or company growth, so we always encourage feedback from the team to ensure our culture deck really reflects what we share. The most rewarding thing is when on culture&values onboarding we talk about our approaches and behavior and we hear from the new team members, "Yes, I already felt that."
Alignment of Values
As a leader, our CEO demonstrates the same values in his daily decisions that we expect from everyone on the team: He’s transparent and honest in his communications. While caring about strategy, product and metrics, he never forgets people and their needs and often put the team first in the decisions. He’s kind, compassionate, and generous with praise and recognition. He keeps his doors open to everyone on the team. He’s a true expert and continues to grow and learn all the time. He openly shares knowledge and expertise, and we trust his fair judgment. He’s a trusted partner for our investors, customers, and partners.
Respect
In our culture, open communication and trust are among the core values in line with continuous improvement. We transparently communicate all the decisions and updates, and everyone can challenge them, ask any question, offer an improvement, or raise any concern. We have multiple channels to ensure effective communication: most of our Slack channels are open (except only for those containing sensitive info), so everyone interested could jump into any discussion. Regular 1-1s with the manager and HR, cross-department sync-ups, and eNPS surveys help us hear different opinions. Freedom to make decisions and experiment; regular internal hackathons allow us to bring and implement innovative ideas. And for sure, we also have an anonymous channel for questions or complaints received by the CEO, COO, and CPO and the internal procedure for reporting ethical misconduct.
Killer Outcomes
We're all about working together to make our product a success, and teamwork is super important to us. Our team is primarily remote-based, although some members work from the office. We use Slack as our primary mode of communication, and we keep most channels open so everyone can stay in the loop and feel included, and we encourage every team member to voice their opinions, ask questions, and discuss decisions—trust is one of our core values. We've got a knowledge base and dashboards where you can find all the info you need about our product and how we work. We automate routines where possible and use the latest tools and AI. We hold regular interdepartmental and cross-departmental online meetings to discuss progress and collaborate on solutions. Plus, every quarter we meet up to plan and share how things are going. We openly discuss our successes and failures, working together as a team to reach decisions. While teamwork is important, we also appreciate individual efforts. We celebrate achievements, give shoutouts, and organize get-togethers when we can. To help team members get to know each other better, we also run random coffee calls, Ask Me Anything sessions with team members, and internal knowledge-sharing events.
