Positive Vision for the Future

NCR Atleos is a 140-year-old start up, created in 2023 from a corporate spin. We launched NCR Atleos values after a few months of company creation to see our culture in action. Based on leadership perspective and employee actions, our core values of accountability, collaboration and innovation were launched. Intentionally creating our values after NCR Atleos was launched showed our employees that our values were true to us as a company and a workforce. We had to get to know ourselves first! Our employees live and see these values in action every day, which is why they are a natural part of the workspace culture. To fully ingrain the values in our employee experience, we introduce our values during the onboarding process (and even before). Annually, we measure our employees against them during our performance management process and they are reflected in our Code of Conduct, so everyone knows the clear standards we hold ourselves to. We believe our people set us apart. Our core values of accountability, collaboration and innovation guide our employees’ actions and decisions in every situation. Our CEO, Tim Oliver, created our core values along with the executive leadership team, and he is a true example of them in the way he conducts business. Each month, he kicks off our global all-hands webcasts with a reminder of why we do what we do and what goals we are working toward. Central to this one-page visual slide is NCR Atleos values of accountability, collaboration and innovation. Tim understands that in order for our values to be truly integrated as part of our culture, they must be modeled by our leadership. Everyone in our organization is measured to the success of living these values as part of our annual performance management cycle. This includes everyone from the leadership team all the way down to entry-level employees. Tim has asked other executives to also promote the values frequently through videos, emails, and portions of company all-hands webcasts. What’s more, he truly lives our values and connects our actions to them in the decisions we make and the way we serve our customers each day.

We show respect and ensure that all voices are heard throughout NCR Atleos by making sure that employees feel valued as individuals. We are committed to fostering a workplace that values individual perspectives, ensures fair treatment and promotes a sense of belonging for all our employees. To help us accomplish this we: Invest heavily in ensuring employees trust and can rely on their managers. Encourage skip-level meetings between employees and their manager’s manager. End every all-hands with a Q&A, where all employees have direct access to leadership. Hold listening sessions, where employees can connect with executives and share their feedback and experiences directly.
