<li>Nestled within Airbnb's Infrastructure Org, the Quality team is a team of ~150, spread across the globe in the USA, Canada, Brazil, Ireland, India, China and more. Through professional Software Quality Assurance expertise, we ensure the quality of the Airbnb software and support nearly every one of Airbnb's business teams. <h3><strong>The Difference You Will Make</strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>As a Senior QE Lead, you are responsible for ensuring software product quality through the design, execution, and documentation of manual and automated tests. within the QE organization. You will work cross-functionally to improve the quality of our software, and do so with clear communication, efficient program planning, and deep focus on overall project execution. You'll play a critical role in ensuring that Airbnb delivers high quality products.</li>

<h3><strong>A Typical Day</strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>Be accountable for planning and execution of the QE team's priorities.</li>

<li>Work with QE leadership to define, launch, and execute multiple strategic and operational initiatives in service of the above priorities.</li>

<li>Ensure quality is consistent across all projects and is represented during project planning, development, and launches.</li>

<li>Drive the adoption of automated testing as a key strategic lever for ensuring efficient and effective testing.</li>

<li>Clearly communicate program status and progress to large groups of project stakeholders and senior leadership.</li>

<li>Effectively manage change by influencing and communicating with key stakeholders. Anticipate risks associated with change management, and ensure creative and effective mitigations are available.</li>

<li>In collaboration with Product teams, identify opportunities and advocate for product improvements and/or tools that support the team's strategy and the needs of the customer.</li>

<li>Work to quickly become well-versed in the engineering team's product/domain space.</li>

<li>Coordinate and collaborate with 3rd party vendors and QE counterparts.</li>

<li>Regularly assess project risks and opportunities. Leverage best practices and continually drive process improvements, but work creatively to drive execution and simplification.</li>

</ul>

<h3><strong>Your Expertise</strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>10+ years of software quality assurance experience, with a proven track record of quality delivery.</li>

<li>Experience with partnering with Quality Engineering teams to help advance test automation.</li>

<li>Strong people leadership skills, including hiring, performance management, career development, and building a strong, happy team.</li>

<li>Proactive communication and interpersonal skills; strong stakeholder management.</li>

<li>Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing ambiguity and uncertainty.</li>

<li>Ability to anticipate risks & issues and proactively mitigate them.</li>

<li>Experience using collaborative project management tools and processes (e.g. JIRA, Asana, Smartsheets, Google Docs, scrum, agile).</li>

<li>Passion for building and delivering high quality software.</li>

</ul>

<p>This position is US – Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.  </span></p></div><div class="title">Pay Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$132,000</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$154,000 USD</span></div></div></div>
