About the Role

At Flagstone Group Ltd, a Most Loved Workplace® certified employer in the Finance space, Revolutionizing savings through technology and community-driven innovation.

What is Flagstone? Flagstone is many things. An online savings platform, reinventing how individuals, businesses, and charities manage, protect, and grow their cash. A diverse group of people, bound by a collaborative spirit, and shared purpose. And lastly, a thriving, profitable business – where smart people do their best work. Each definition shares a common thread: our unique culture. It’s our pride and joy. And our competitive advantage. A feel for our culture: To revolutionise the savings market, we need to be at our best. But high performance takes more than talent – it takes a culture of kindness, respect, and growth. That’s why we’re building a diverse, inclusive community, where your voice is heard and valued. Where, with close support and room to develop, you can surpass even your own expectations. And be rewarded for it. We may not change the world, but we can change the world of financial technology. And all it takes is a winning mix of drive, talent, and empathy. Our culture celebrates all three. But enough about us. Let’s talk about you. About the squad The Mobile App squad sits within our Engagement Tribe, whose mission is to deepen how clients engage with Flagstone and grow the balances they hold with us. The native mobile app is an important growth area for us, and we're looking for a product manager to lead the squad through an intensive period of building. Does this sound like you? This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You'll lead the squad, setting the product direction for the mobile app, leading discovery, owning the roadmap, and being the product leader the squad rallies around. You'll report to the Group Product Manager and work closely with both the Group Product Manager and the Tribe Lead on wider tribe strategy, but the direction of the mobile app is yours to shape and deliver. What you’ll do: Shape the mobile app strategy and roadmap, using customer and market insight, and align it to our tribe and company goals. Lead product discovery: validate problems with data and research, scope solutions, and connect what you build to measurable outcomes. Own delivery end to end for the squad, shipping small and often so we learn quickly and improvements land reliably through the app stores. Provide product leadership to the squad: set the standard for how you work, run retrospectives and experiments, and keep raising the bar on quality. Own the squad's outcomes and metrics, focused on engagement and deposits, and show how the squad's work contributes to wider company goals. Shape stakeholder expectations and secure buy-in across design, engineering, compliance and growth, bringing people with you rather than relying on your title. Analyse in-app journeys from a data perspective to find where they fall short and prove the impact of what you launch. Work with Compliance, content designers, data analysts and go-to-market experts so that what you ship is compliant, well made, evidence-led and ready for clients. What you’ll bring: Essential At least 3-5 years in product management, including experience leading a squad or owning a product area end to end. Hands-on experience shipping native mobile app features on iOS and/or Android, including app store release cycles. A strong track record in product discovery and strategy: turning customer and market insight into a roadmap, and validating problems before building. Experience owning engagement or growth outcomes such as activation, retention, deposits or acquisition. A strong grounding in data, comfortable digging into funnel and journey data to find problems and prove impact. Confident stakeholder management, able to align senior stakeholders and navigate competing priorities without leaning on positional authority. Backlog management, prioritisation, and writing epics, features and user stories. Comfortable working in a regulated financial services environment. Desirable A FinTech or financial services background. Experience with mobile engagement mechanics like push notifications, in-app messaging and CRM-triggered comms. Experience using AI tools to speed up the product development lifecycle. How we reward you: At Flagstone, the benefits extend beyond false gifts like “fruit and snacks”. Instead, we invest in your health, wealth, and professional development. Here’s a selection of our benefits: Hybrid working - Spend at least 1 day a week with your team in our collaborative London office Competitive bonus scheme - designed to reward and recognise high performance Flexible benefits budget - a pot to fund meaningful benefits for you, whether it's hormone or fertility testing, cancer screening, neuro-diversity coaching or something that matters for you. A range of salary sacrifice options to help you make tax efficient savings on electric cars, nursery schemes, home and tech goods. Around the World scheme - 3 months work from anywhere scheme Mental wellbeing support – Access therapy and mental health sessions through Spill Learning and development – £1,000 personal development budget to help you grow in your role. Private health care - Enjoy all the benefits AXA has to offer, including reduced gym memberships and medical history disregarded Medical cash plan - To help you with the costs of dental and optical expenses Life insurance and Income Protection- four times your annual salary for peace of mind Matched pension contributions up to 5% 25 days holiday - plus bank holidays, well-being days and volunteering days Enhanced Parental Leave – enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay. All are welcome. At Flagstone, we’re assembling a diverse team that defies our industry’s norms. Think this role could suit you? We encourage you to apply, no matter your background.
