<h3><strong> </strong><strong>About the Role:</strong></h3>

<p>The Strategic Planner supports the development and execution of strategic initiatives across client brands. This role partners closely with Account Services, Creative, and senior strategy team members to elevate the quality of agency thinking, communications, and creative output.</p>

<p>The Strategic Planner leverages research, industry knowledge, and analytical thinking to uncover insights, identify opportunities, and contribute strategic recommendations that help position clients, brands, and campaigns for success. This role is ideal for a curious, collaborative thinker who enjoys turning information into actionable recommendations and helping shape meaningful customer experiences. </p>

<h3><strong>What You’ll Do </strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>Identify, gather, and analyze information from a variety of sources to understand customer behaviour, market dynamics, and emerging trends.</li>

<li>Support the development of go-to-market plans for a portfolio of brands across the Canadian market.</li>

<li>Contribute to strategic planning initiatives, including brand planning, campaign development, audience segmentation, and positioning exercises.</li>

<li>Participate in strategic workshops and collaborative planning sessions with clients and cross-functional teams.</li>

<li>Help develop customer engagement strategies across channels including email, web, search, media, social, and emerging technologies.</li>

<li>Support the development of customer journeys, messaging frameworks, tactical plans, and campaign blueprints.</li>

<li>Collaborate with internal teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations and creative opportunities.</li>

<li>Conduct audits of existing marketing and communication plans to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for optimization.</li>

<li>Monitor competitive activity, industry trends, and evolving customer needs to inform strategic recommendations.</li>

<li>Assist senior strategy team members with research, analysis, presentations, and client deliverables.</li>

<li>Contribute to channel-specific recommendations by applying best practices, performance insights, and emerging trends.</li>

<li>Support measurement and reporting initiatives by helping analyze campaign performance and identify learnings for future optimization.</li>

<h3><strong> </strong><strong>What You’ll Need   </strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>A customer-first mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>

<li>Working knowledge of marketing principles, customer experience, and strategic planning frameworks.</li>

<li>Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.</li>

<li>Natural curiosity and a desire to understand people, behaviours, and market dynamics.</li>

<li>Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and identify meaningful insights.</li>

<li>Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.</li>

<li>Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across disciplines and teams.</li>

<li>High level of initiative, accountability, and attention to detail.</li>

<li>Experience using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, social media analytics tools, or dashboard reporting platforms.</li>

<li>Experience gathering and interpreting consumer, customer, market, and behavioural research.</li>

<li>Understanding of social media marketing, search marketing, and digital communications channels.</li>

<li>Familiarity with social listening tools and methodologies.</li>

<li>Interest in healthcare, pharmaceutical, wellness, or highly regulated industries.</li>

<li>3–5 years of experience in strategy, marketing, communications, research, consulting, or a related field.</li>
