Our CEO is truly a servant leader, and he models our values daily. While he is new to the CEO role, he has served in a senior leadership role at Parkview for 16 years. He inspires confidence in co-workers by being authentic and reliable. He shows teamwork by continually building partnerships – inside and outside the organization – and emphasizing team over self. He is innovative and drives transformation by encouraging new or better ways to complete a task, often while being mindful of resources and demonstrating stewardship. Finally, he is respectful to all, with regard for their wishes, thoughts or opinions.

Dignity and respect are core to Parkview’s culture. We respect one another’s opinions, and co-workers are invited to voice their ideas in several ways. Our equity and inclusion survey gathered opinions on our efforts to create an inclusive environment. We conduct a culture survey to gauge how co-workers feel about our culture. In fact, a question on our culture survey is “My voice is heard at Parkview.” Feedback from both surveys is used to inform decisions about how Parkview supports its workforce. We also conduct stay interviews and round on teams to gather feedback.

Sharing their voice through bi-annual culture surveys, stay interviews, and connecting with others at Parkview via various internal platforms. Connection and collaboration with fellow co-workers continues to be ranked as Parkview’s biggest strength. Non-clinical co-workers deploy to support clinical areas as helping hands – specifically serving during times of unprecedented crisis like experienced during the many COVID-19 surges. Co-workers share appreciation through recognition tools and celebrate each other through Parkview sponsored committees. Furthermore, the establishment of PTO and financial donation programs to support fellow co-workers in need provides an opportunity for co-workers to care for each other on a personal level.
