<p>Our global Finance and Strategy team (F&S) is a strategic business partner to leaders at Stripe, providing clear insights which simplify the complexity of the business, and drive the key operating forums to enable effective decision-making.</p>

<p>F&S is expanding to support the needs of our growing business, and this role is an exciting opportunity to join a new Finance and Strategy team in Bangalore. This team is chartered to deliver thoughtful analysis to inform key business decisions through simplification and automation of key financial planning processes. <h2>What you'll do</h2>

<p>We're looking for an F&S Analyst to join our growing team. You'll help us with the forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for various departments accurately and in a timely manner and deliver improvements in our integrated financial systems with business partners, finance colleagues, and engineers.</p>

<h3>Responsibilities</h3>

<ul>

<li>Leverage your financial background to support and influence key strategic and business decisions</li>

<li>Design and provide rigorous analysis to measure efficiency and ROI of investments in headcount and non-headcount expenses</li>

<li>Drive reporting, process, and discipline for finance routines to shape and influence decision-making (e.g., budget, forecast, monthly reviews, and long-range plans) • Build and own models for in-depth analyses, as well as ensure their quality, timeliness, and accuracy</li>

<li>Define metrics and leading indicators of business performance</li>

<li>Partner with Data Science teams to develop reporting dashboards</li>

<li>Drive continuous process improvement, standardization, simplification, and reporting enhancements</li>

<h2>Who you are</h2>

<p>We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.</p>

<h3>Minimum requirements</h3>

<ul>

<li>5+ years of relevant experience in strategic finance or FP&A </li>

<li>A keen eye for detail and experience building integrated models from scratch (in Excel or other planning applications)</li>

<li>Experience driving and executing on finance processes (e.g., budget, forecast reviews, negotiations, and investment analysis) </li>

<li>A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners</li>

<li>A proven ability to be a self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision</li>

<li>The ability to maintain high performance under tight timelines and a hands-on mindset to get any job done</li>

<li>The ability to bring structure to ambiguous areas of opportunity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment</li>

<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>

<li>Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal</li>

<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze problems and data sets to make complex investigation decisions</li>

<li>Strong knowledge of gSuite tools, Salesforce, and MS-Office products and experience working with and analyzing contracts and large data sets</li>

<li>Independently analyze and evaluate information from various data sources to determine a course of action for a matched case</li>

<li>Demonstrated experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders</li>

<li>Demonstrated history of taking on various types of challenging projects and producing results</li>

<li>Solution-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for establishing best practices </li>

<li>Self-disciplined, diligent, proactive, and detail-oriented</li>

</ul>

<h3>Preferred qualifications</h3>

<ul>

<li>Experience working at a high-growth technology or financial services company</li>

<li>Oracle, Anaplan, Tableau, or other equivalent application experience</li>

<li>Experience with SQL or a willingness to learn</li>

<li>Experience in data visualization and dashboarding</li>

</ul>
