<p>Our professional services team combines payments and financial expertise with experience integrating Stripe technology in thousands of projects. We help our customers create marketplaces, launch subscription businesses, expand globally, and more. This team provides critical implementation and post-launch services to help Stripe users maximize long-term value, quickly and confidently.</p>

<p>We're looking for an experienced Engagement Manager to join our Australia and New Zealand distributed team.</p>

<h2>What you'll do</h2>

<p>Our Engagement Managers lead complex and multi-faceted project teams that accelerate implementations and drive meaningful growth and innovation on the Stripe platform. As an Engagement Manager at Stripe, you'll lead enterprises to become long-term Stripe users and advocates of our products and solutions. Stripe Professional Services provides a rapid path to success and ongoing value for our users.</p>

<p>Our Engagement Managers enable users and partners to integrate Stripe's solutions rapidly while delivering immediate impact and measurable value.</p>

<h3>Responsibilities</h3>

<ul>

<li>Deliver program management expertise based on experience, continuous learning, and in-depth knowledge of Stripe's products and implementation best practices</li>

<li>Drive innovation and adoption of deployment practices, provide product adoption insights, and help users achieve the maximum value from their Stripe investment</li>

<li>Focus on the continuous improvement and enablement of the Stripe Implementation Methodology and its associated tools, templates, and processes</li>

<li>Proactively manage the integration of Stripe's products into the user's application and technical architecture, test and change management strategies, and transformation timelines</li>

<li>Provide proactive risk assessment, prevention and mitigation plans, and the efficient identification, tracking, and resolution of issues and decisions using established tools and templates with internal and user stakeholders</li>

<li>Proactively drive interlock between the user and Stripe's Product and Engineering teams to ensure alignment with Stripe's roadmap</li>

<li>Ensure a smooth transition of the implemented Stripe capabilities into operation for the user, including knowledge transfer and the handover to Stripe Support</li>

<li>Actively participate in a global community of practitioners to continually evolve and improve the way in which Stripe leads and supports our users through high-impact and complex implementations of Stripe's payment infrastructure</li>

<h2>Who you are</h2>

<p>We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.</p>

<h3>Minimum requirements</h3>

<ul>

<li>5+ years of consulting experience partnering with enterprise-level strategic users on technology solutions, with a track record of top performance or a related field</li>

<li>Ability to quickly learn and explain technical concepts to Stripe's largest users in a way which they will understand. Some may be deeply technical, others may be more business focused, so you'll need to talk to users in a language they can understand.</li>

<li>Proven program management skills and experience</li>

<li>Strong critical thinking skills, including the ability to identify suboptimal processes and drive more efficient ways of working</li>

<li>Ability to recognize repeated user-facing issues and build scalable solutions</li>

<li>Demonstrated ability to engage with and lead executive stakeholders and key decision-makers on the user side to drive towards an agreed outcome</li>

<li>An ability to work collaboratively with and influence Stripe's product and engineering teams to advocate for our users and continuously shape the forward roadmap of Stripe's applications</li>

</ul>

<h3>Preferred qualifications</h3>

<ul>

<li>Prior experience at a growth-stage internet and enterprise software company</li>

<li>Industry certifications to ensure project success. Typical certifications include PMP, ITIL, PSM1, and PSPO1.</li>

<li>Prior experience in the payments industry</li>

<li>A familiarity with the integration and testing of APIs</li>

</ul>
