<p><strong>Summary</strong></p>

<p>Are you eager to launch your sales career in a fast-growing, innovative tech company? Temporal is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to join our team in <strong>London, England</strong>. As a BDR, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving growth by connecting with potential customers, generating leads, and building strong pipelines for our sales team. </p>

<p>This is an entry level role designed for ambitious self-starters who are passionate about technology, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are excited to develop their careers in sales. With a dedicated training program and clear growth path, you’ll have the support and tools to become a standout sales professional while contributing to Temporal’s mission of redefining application development.</p>

<p><strong>What you'll do</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Proactively outbound prospecting and lead activity management in an effort to qualify and market Temporal to potential customers.</li>

<li>Discover opportunities from leads and set appointments from those leads. </li>

<li>Use of strong selling and influencing skills to set up qualified appointments. </li>

<li>Understand the Temporal OSS and Cloud solutions enough to provide high level introduction. </li>

<li>Leverage taught sales techniques to maximize customer interactions. </li>

<li>Log, track, and maintain outbound activity. </li>

<li>Work closely with the Sales Team and attend customer meetings as required. </li>

<li>Be the architect of a growing team, defining and iterating on processes.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>What you'll need</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>1 to 2+ years of experience in prospecting roles.</li>

<li>Reading, writing, and speaking French fluency.</li>

<li>Excellent in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills.</li>

<li>Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.</li>

<li>Ability to make formal and informal presentations to staff and clients.</li>

<li>Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on the needs of the department or business goals.</li>

<li>Proficient PC, Spreadsheet, Salesforce.com, and Google Docs skills required.</li>

<li>Ability to manage time effectively, work independently, and be self-motivated</li>

<li>Prior track record of achievement in positions with accountability.</li>

<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.</li>

<li>Proactive, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude. </li>

<p><strong>Compensation</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>The estimated pay range for this role is £75,000 OTE</li>

<li>Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Temporal’s equity plan.</li>
