<p><strong>About the job</strong></p>

<p>This position is needed to help Twilio develop and deliver new capabilities in the Twilio Console platform. You will be a member of a SCRUM team which designs, implements, owns and operates the Twilio Console. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to influence roadmap priorities, propose innovative solutions that will enable Twilio to achieve its goal of being the world’s most trusted customer engagement platform.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>

<p>In this role, you’ll:</p>

<ul>

<li>Design, develop, test and deploy new features using technologies such as React, Typescript, Playwright, Vitest and Buildkite.</li>

<li>Own your own code, respond to incidents and participate in on-call rotation and participate in root-cause-analysis for incidents.</li>

<li>Meet Definition of Done for the software you build.</li>

<li>Refactor and reduce technical debt.</li>

<li>Write automated unit and integration tests in a continuous integration and delivery environment.</li>

<li>Manage your work through the use of Github, Jira, and Twilio’s build/deploy systems.</li>

<li>Collaborate with other team members, including Product leadership, influence, own, and work to improve the platform.</li>

<li>Actively participate in design and code review, backlog refinements and other agile ceremonies and work with team members to meet team’s sprint commitments.</li>

<li>Work independently or with your team to troubleshoot/determine resolution for issues in your team's domain.</li>

<li>Be responsible for documentation of projects you work on.</li>

<li>Rapidly acquire new technical skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, highly disruptive industry environment.</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p>

<p><strong>*Required:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>2+ years of hands-on development experience developing Frontend applications using modern javascript technologies, preferably React and Typescript.</li>

<li>Hands-on experience of developing and implementing testing strategies using robust automated testing frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress.</li>

<li>Experience with REST APIs or GraphQL.</li>

<li>Knowledge of modern automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.</li>

<li>Champion of good engineering habits: development and test techniques, security and automation.</li>

<li>Experience in triaging and solving production issues.</li>

<li>Positive attitude and aptitude to learn and execute quickly as part of a SCRUM team.</li>

<li>Communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.</li>

<li>Good team player and ability to communicate well in a remote work environment.</li>

<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related industry experience.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Desired:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Experience with AWS or other public cloud infrastructure platforms.</li>

<li>Experience of observability tools like DataDog and Grafana.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Location</strong></p>

<p>This role will be remote, and based in the UK.</p>

<p><strong>Travel </strong></p>
