About the Role

The Junior Data Acquisition Specialist role is a key role within Airfinity working within the data team to produce insight and intelligence for our clients relating to different aspects of infectious diseases and cardiometabolic health. This role will focus on working in a team to ensure all our publication and trial data is collected and annotated in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Expertise and deep interest in scientific research, particularly in the infectious disease and/or cardiometabolic space
  • Undergraduate in life sciences
  • Familiarity with relational dataset structure/willing to learn about data architecture
  • Strong organisational habits and an ability to meet tight deadlines - deliver high quality outputs at pace
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Read, evaluate, and extract scientific literature
  • Working with relational and non-relational database technologies
  • Experience in using biological databases and data curation (desired)
  • Experience in implementation of data management best practices (desired)
  • Applicants fluent in other languages strongly recommended to apply, particularly in Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, Hebrew (desired)
