<p>At AKQA (part of WPP), our Client Service team manages every facet of our client relationships, ensuring all our collaborations deliver the best possible outcomes for our valued partners. As an Account Director, you’ll cultivate and manage senior client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser, strategic partner, and agency leader.</p>

<p>In this role, you’ll transform our clients’ businesses by identifying and creating opportunities that add value across their digital ecosystem. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams across strategy, creative, technology, and production to deliver meaningful, high-impact work that drives measurable business outcomes and is recognised both internally and externally.</p>

<p><strong>ROLE REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>

<li>Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through strong senior client relationships.</li>

<li>Be accountable for revenue and forecast management across accounts, ensuring reporting is completed accurately.</li>

<li>Monitor, maintain, and drive a strong pipeline of client growth.</li>

<li>Encourage a fearless, entrepreneurial approach to solving problems and unlocking opportunities.</li>

<li>Work collaboratively across disciplines to provide clients with relevant insights, industry trends, and best practice.</li>

<li>Drive and inspire a high-performing, professional, and passionate team.</li>

<li>Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering growth and development across the wider team.</li>

<p><br><strong>QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS</strong></p>

<li>Strong strategic and commercial acumen with a thorough understanding of business growth drivers.</li>

<li>Demonstrable experience in a similar senior agency role, with the ability to show measurable impact across clients, projects, or teams.</li>

<li>Experience within the CX space across web development, ideally managing or leading complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.</li>

<li>Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and risk management skills.</li>

<li>Proven ability to identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities effectively.</li>

<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management capability.</li>

<li>Sharp attention to detail and a drive for excellence.</li>

<li>A collaborative ‘one team’ mindset that enables clients and agency partners to work cohesively and successfully.</li>
