Why This Is a Most Loved Workplace® Certified Job

S

Systemic Collaboration

Employees at Bisnow have a positive vision for the future because they have clear visibility into both where Bisnow is headed and how they personally grow alongside Bisnow. Through transparent State of the Union meetings, leadership regularly shares company performance, strategic priorities, and expansion plans, ensuring employees understand the “why” behind our direction and feel connected to our momentum. That momentum is tangible. In 2025 alone, Bisnow brought 98,726 commercial real estate professionals together across 436 events , published thousands of thought-provoking stories, expanded into new markets, launched a live show, and introduced new publications—creating even more ways for the industry to stay informed and push forward. Employees see firsthand that Bisnow is growing, innovating, and investing in what’s next. At the individual level, Individual Development Plans and quarterly ROCKS help employees clearly connect their day-to-day work to company success and long-term career progression. Internal promotions, long-tenured team members, and frequent examples of cross-department career mobility reinforce confidence that Bisnow is a place where people can build lasting, meaningful careers—not just short-term roles. Together, transparency, measurable growth, and clear development pathways give employees confidence in Bisnow’s future—and excitement about building it together as we look toward an even bigger 2026.

P

Positive Vision for the Future

Bisnow values are aligned with our employees because they are consistently reinforced through action, accountability, and everyday decision-making—not just words on a wall. At Bisnow, we hire, promote, and when necessary, make difficult parting decisions based on alignment with our core values, ensuring authenticity across our team. Our values demand that we be curious, self-aware, fearless, disciplined, and kind . Employees experience these values daily through constructive feedback, recognition of effort and growth, and leadership behaviors that prioritize teamwork over ego. We embrace challenges, push boundaries, and pursue excellence relentlessly because we care more than the competition—and our people are energized by that standard. At the same time, discipline and kindness coexist at Bisnow. We challenge the status quo, communicate exceptionally, and strive to create real value for both our team and our customers. We champion inclusivity, actively fight inequality, and own our failures so we can return smarter and stronger. This consistency between what we say and how we operate builds trust and ensures our culture feels authentic—not performative. At Bisnow, our employees don’t just understand our values; they live them. And together, we’re here to win.

A

Alignment of Values

Our CEO serves as a model of Bisnow values by demonstrating transparency, accessibility, and extreme ownership in every aspect of leadership. Gregg Mayer remains actively involved in hiring, onboarding, and company-wide communication, reinforcing the importance of culture fit, resilience, and accountability. Nearly 20 years after Bisnow’s startup beginnings, Gregg has helped scale Bisnow significantly while preserving its scrappy, entrepreneurial mentality. He openly discusses challenges, failures, and lessons learned during State of the Union meetings, modeling accountability and continuous learning and setting the expectation that growth comes from ownership—not perfection. Gregg and the executive leadership team are deeply involved in the hiring process, asking candidates thoughtful, values-based questions such as, “Walk me through a time you failed and had to battle out of it.” This approach ensures we bring in resilient, driven individuals who elevate both our performance and our culture. Under Gregg’s leadership, employees at every level are encouraged to take ownership of their roles and contribute meaningfully to the business, regardless of department or title. Collaboration and celebration are deeply embedded into how we work—employees genuinely support one another and are empowered to raise their hands for new opportunities. When ideas are brought forward, leaders meet them with trust, resources, and support to bring them to life. Failure is treated as part of growth, and success is shared collectively. This balance of high standards, respect, and empowerment fuels a culture where people consistently make things happen. Bisnow thrives on this commitment to innovation, collaboration, and impact—led by a CEO who inspires excellence every day.

R

Respect

We show respect and ensure that all voices are heard and ideas are valued throughout Bisnow by creating multiple formal and informal channels for dialogue—and, critically, by acting on what we hear. Employees engage regularly with leadership through State of the Union meetings, open workshops, team meetings, and one-on-one conversations, ensuring feedback flows both ways across all levels of the organization. Employee input directly informs decision-making and has led to several impactful, employee-inspired initiatives. In 2024, we launched two voluntary, 6-week Wellness Challenges , pairing employees from different teams and regions nationwide. These programs fostered camaraderie, teamwork, and healthy competition through activities like hiking, swimming, and virtual or in-person workouts. The top-performing team received gift cards, and overwhelmingly positive feedback has driven our commitment to continue these challenges into 2025. In response to employee enthusiasm for company pride and connection, we introduced our Bi-Yearly SWAG Store in 2023. With CEO-allocated funds for each team member, employees can buy, win, or earn Bisnow-branded merchandise. The excitement is visible across markets through shared photos and engagement, and the program’s success has secured its continuation into 2025. Employee feedback also inspired our Volunteer Commitments , including Habitat for Humanity Build Days launched in every market in 2024. These hands-on volunteer efforts allow employees to give back to their local communities while strengthening cross-team relationships and making a tangible impact. Leaders at Bisnow are trained to foster inclusive conversations, encourage diverse perspectives, and ensure quieter voices are heard alongside more vocal ones. By consistently listening and turning feedback into action, we create a culture where employees feel respected, valued, and confident that their voices genuinely shape Bisnow’s direction.

K

Killer Outcomes

Employees collaborate throughout Bisnow by participating in intentionally cross-functional and cross-market initiatives that remove silos and create shared ownership. Collaboration is a cornerstone of Bisnow’s culture and is embedded into how we work, learn, and celebrate together across departments and locations. Employees collaborate through company-wide programs like BisLearn , where teams from editorial, sales, events, marketing, tech, and operations come together quarterly to learn, exchange ideas, and align on priorities. Internal tools such as the Bisnow Brain further support collaboration by providing a centralized hub for sharing resources, best practices, and institutional knowledge across the organization. We reinforce collaboration through structured, relationship-building initiatives, including: Wellness Challenges – Team-based, 6-week challenges that connect employees from different regions through shared fitness goals and healthy competition. Volunteer Days – Hands-on initiatives like Habitat for Humanity Build Days that unite employees to give back to their local communities while strengthening bonds. Cross-Departmental Projects – Ongoing collaboration driven by programs like BisLearn and shared tools that encourage knowledge sharing and teamwork. SWAG Store – A bi-yearly cultural moment that promotes unity and pride as employees across markets share and celebrate Bisnow-branded gear. Accessible Leadership – Open communication through State of the Union meetings and individual conversations with leadership fosters alignment, trust, and collaborative problem-solving. Celebrating Wins – Dedicated Slack channels and company-wide updates bring teams together to celebrate milestones, successes, and individual achievements in real time. Together, these initiatives create an environment where collaboration is not incidental—it’s intentional. By connecting employees across roles, regions, and levels, Bisnow ensures that collaboration drives innovation, strengthens relationships, and fuels shared success.
