What is the America's Nationally Ranked Certification?
The America's Nationally Ranked Certification is awarded by Most Loved Workplace® and the Best Practice Institute (BPI) to recognize organizations that foster exceptional, people-first cultures and meet high standards in their specific categories.
How do companies qualify for America's Nationally Ranked?
Companies qualify by completing the Love of Workplace Index™ (SPARK assessment) and meeting stringent criteria regarding employee sentiment, leadership practices, and overall workplace culture.
Why does America's Nationally Ranked certification matter for employers?
Earning the America's Nationally Ranked certification provides a powerful signal to prospective talent that the organization is deeply committed to employee well-being, helping to attract and retain top performers.
How is America's Nationally Ranked Evaluated?
Every Most Loved Workplace® certification is grounded in the SPARK methodology, developed by the Best Practice Institute (BPI) over 20 years of workplace research. SPARK stands for Systemic Collaboration, Positive Vision of the Future, Alignment of Values, Respect, and Killer Achievement. Companies are evaluated through employee sentiment surveys, public reputation signals from LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed, leadership assessment, and independent BPI review. The America's Nationally Ranked certification applies additional criteria specific to the category, requiring demonstrated commitment and measurable outcomes in the relevant area.
What Happens After Certification?
Once certified, companies receive the Most Loved Workplace® badge for use on job posts, careers pages, LinkedIn, and all recruiting materials. Certified employers are listed in the CertCheck directory, included in industry and certification hub pages, and eligible for media placement opportunities. Certification is reviewed annually to ensure continued compliance with BPI standards.
