The Warehouse Operations Technician is responsible for the safe, efficient movement, storage, and handling of materials within the warehouse environment. This role involves operating powered industrial equipment (including forklifts), handling regulated and hazardous materials, loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments, and supporting accurate inventory control. The position requires strict adherence to OSHA regulations, HAZMAT procedures, and company safety standards to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1–2 years of warehouse, distribution, or industrial operations experience
  • Proven experience operating forklifts or powered industrial trucks
  • Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices and inventory control
  • Ability to read and follow written safety procedures and work instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in varying environmental conditions
