<p>As a DSA Manager, your role is to build and lead a team of Delivery Solution Architects (DSAs). You work in close collaboration with the Sales, Pre-Sales, FDE and Partners teams in the Southern Europe, Israel, Middle-East and Africa (SEMEA, France excluded) region to shape the post-sales delivery strategy for our major customers and will report to the SEMEA SSA & DSA leader.</p>

<p>DSAs are collaborating with sales and field engineering teams to drive our customers' adoption and growth. They are guiding complex customers to maximize platform value and ROI. This hybrid role combines commercial skills to foster customer relationships and drive growth, with technical expertise across all Databricks products. They are engaged at all organizational levels to drive the adoption.</p>

<p>Your role will have 3 main pillars:</p>

<ul>

<li><strong>People</strong>: Hire, coach and support a diverse team able to ensure our customers’ success in their roadmap delivery</li>

<li><strong>Business</strong>: You will contribute to the growth of the region and to the investment/co-investment positioning of your team with our customers</li>

<li><strong>Leadership: </strong>You will be the technical sponsor and thought leader for a number of selected customers. </li>

</ul>

<p>You and your team will contribute to the creation of assets to build the Delivery Solution Architect practice to and improve effectiveness and consistency in working with customers.</p>

<p><strong>The impact you will have:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Manage a diverse team of Delivery Solution Architects to achieve customer, company, and team goals (usage growth, career growth and hiring)</li>

<li>Lead by example using our AI tooling to deliver C-level thought leadership discussions with our customers</li>

<li>Assign accounts and distribute work across individuals for optimal customer coverage and team balance</li>

<li>Inspire the team to be customer-obsessed by understanding customer goals, their use cases, and Databricks technology</li>

<li>Partner with Sales, pre Sales and FDE teams to accelerate growth of customers</li>

<li>Work with teams to reduce customer risk and help your team with escalations.</li>

<li>Lead team activities to monitor customer progress and forecast growth</li>

<li>Provide input to grow and improve internal processes and customer success service offerings</li>

<li>Promote cross-functional programs, plans, documentation</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>What we look for:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>10+ years of experience in a customer-facing role</li>

<li>Experience leading a team of pre or post-sale consultants/solution architects, technical account managers or customer success engineers.</li>

<li>Experience in Cloud, Data, AI domains</li>

<li>Experience in putting workloads or data products into production and running them, e.g. in a delivery architect, project manager, DevOps, or service/product owner role.</li>

<li>Conversant with business issues our customers face today and likely big data use cases in different industries</li>

<li>Fluent in Italian and English. Additional language skills in the region will be advantageous.</li>

<li>Based in Milan or to 1 hour commute time</li>
