You will architect, scale, and secure our AWS-based environments using cutting-edge DevOps and Platform Engineering practices. By building resilient automation and optimizing systems like our FedRAMP-regulated environments, you will directly empower engineering teams to deploy faster and keep millions of learners seamlessly connected. Get ready to solve high-impact technical challenges, elevate our cloud strategy, and shape the future of AI-driven learning! ⚡ The Day-to-Day Architect the Future: Own and evolve our AWS cloud infrastructure end-to-end, taking projects from initial blueprint through implementation and operations to guarantee ultra-high availability, performance, and scale. Automate Everything: Design and implement self-service Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates and automation workflows that crush manual toil and give product teams superpowers. Fortify the Platform: Elevate our cloud security posture by partnering with Security and Compliance teams to maintain audit-ready FedRAMP configurations, eliminate drift, and streamline patching. Partner for Impact: Collaborate closely with Engineering to launch new services seamlessly, jump into high-priority incident responses, and turn post-mortem insights into platform upgrades. Optimize and Observe: Master systems like Datadog to keep eyes on platform performance, driving decisions that optimize system resilience, speed, and cost-efficiency. Level Up the Team: Inspire and mentor junior Cloud Engineers through code and design reviews, keeping Docebo at the forefront of modern cloud trends. 💪 Your Superpowers Cloud Mastery: Proven expertise managing complex, production-grade AWS infrastructure with 4–8 years of experience in cloud systems or platform engineering. Infrastructure as Code Ace: Intermediate to advanced mastery with IaC tooling like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK to provision and scale complex environments. Containerization & Linux Powerhouse: Hands-on proficiency with Linux, Docker, and running microservices on Kubernetes/EKS. Observability & CI/CD Champion: Strong experience using Datadog (or similar observability tools) alongside Git/GitLab for seamless code delivery and automation. DevOps Mindset & Scripting Skills: Solid understanding of DevOps methodologies paired with fluent scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go. Problem-Solving Superhero: Exceptional analytical skills, sharp attention to detail, and a collaborative, team-first approach to solving complex engineering problems. ⭐ Bonus Points Compliance Ninja: Direct experience maintaining and patching FedRAMP-regulated or highly compliant cloud environments. Academic Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent real-world experience). 🗓️ Our Interview Process Step 1: We’ll kick things off with a 30-minute video call with a member of our Talent team. We’ll get to know you, share more about the role and team, and make sure we’re aligned. Step 2: A 45-60-minute video call with the hiring manager, where they’ll dig deeper into your experience, approach, and what excites you most about this opportunity. Step 3: A technical deep-dive and system design discussion with key members of our Cloud & Platform Engineering team. Step 4: A final wrap-up conversation with engineering leadership to discuss team culture, growth, and next steps.
