<h2 class="p1">Role Description</h2>

As a System Integrations &amp; Automations Engineer in the Corp IT Eng Org, you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting real-time integrations using platforms such as Workato, UiPath, Snowflake/Databricks, enabling seamless data flow across ERP, CRM, and HCM systems at Dropbox.

Core responsibilities include designing and optimizing integration flows, monitoring system performance and reliability, resolving production issues through root cause analysis, and evaluating opportunities to improve scalability, automation, and overall efficiency. In this role, you will be instrumental in modernizing Dropbox’s enterprise integration and data platforms, gain substantial exposure to senior leadership, work with cutting-edge cloud and data technologies, and deepen your expertise in enterprise integrations across ERP, CRM, and HCM systems.

<h2 class="p1">Responsibilities</h2>

<li>Design, build, and maintain real-time integrations and automations using Workato and UiPath ensuring seamless data exchange and synchronization across platforms in line with best practices.</li>

<li>Develop and support integration flows, including managing and deploying APIs, leveraging iPaaS features, and integrating with enterprise systems such as Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, and other SaaS applications.</li>

<li>Leverage common integration frameworks such as message queuing, caching, API management, and complex data mapping to enable scalable and reliable integrations.</li>

<li>Utilize scripting languages and APIs (JavaScript, Groovy, REST, SOAP) while working with diverse data formats including XML, JSON, and CSV.</li>

<li>Handle advanced integration scenarios involving SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, WSDL, XSD, and JSON technologies to support complex business use cases.</li>

<li>Implement secure authentication and encryption mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, PGP encryption/decryption) to protect data and ensure secure communication between systems.</li>

<li>Maintain strong focus on data security and retention while continuously evaluating opportunities to improve integration performance, automation, and reliability.</li>

</ul>

On-call work may be necessary occasionally to help address bugs, outages, or other operational issues, with the goal of maintaining a stable and high-quality experience for our customers.

<h2 class="p1">Requirements</h2>

<ul>

<li>3–5 years of experience in designing, building, and supporting real-time automations and integrations using UiPath and/or Workato, with strong production support expertise.</li>

<li>Proven ability to develop and manage integration flows, including APIs, leveraging iPaaS features, and integrating with enterprise systems such as Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, and other SaaS applications.</li>

<li>Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Databricks, including the ability to write complex SQL queries and optimize database components.</li>

<li>Proficiency in scripting and programming (JavaScript, Java/Groovy) and experience working with diverse data formats such as XML, JSON, and CSV.</li>

<li>Familiarity with integration frameworks such as message queuing, caching, API management, and complex data mapping for scalable, reliable solutions.</li>

<li>Experience implementing secure authentication and encryption mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, PGP encryption/decryption) with a strong focus on data security, retention, and compliance.</li>

<li>Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to optimize and scale integrations across complex enterprise application environments.</li>

</ul>

<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>

<ul>

<li>&nbsp;Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.</li>

<li>&nbsp;Boomi/Workato certifications preferred, with demonstrated expertise in building enterprise-grade integrations.</li>

<li>&nbsp;Solid understanding of AWS services and cloud integration patterns to support resilient and scalable data flows.</li>

<li>&nbsp;Exposure to advanced integration scenarios using SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, WSDL, XSD, and JSON technologies.</li>

<li>&nbsp;Proven track record of driving automation and continuous improvements in integration performance and reliability</li>
