The role contributes to the advancement of AI capabilities within Finance by combining strong finance expertise with foundational knowledge of data, modelling, and governance. The incumbent acts as a bridge between Finance and IT by translating business requirements, including use cases and process models, into clear and actionable input for technical teams, while supporting the Head of Finance Data & Analytics Excellence with sound AI and IT-related expertise.

Requirements

Advanced degree or studies in economics, information technology, or a related field
At least 5 years of professional experience in FP&A, Accounting, IT, or related areas
Solid understanding of Accounting and FP&A processes, as well as the broader finance operating model
Understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including key limitations such as hallucinations, bias, and training cutoffs
Good understanding of process design, data analysis, and improvement techniques; business process management experience is an advantage
Project management experience; PMP, Agile, or other project management certifications or training are an advantage
Structured and systematic working style, strong numerical aptitude, and analytical strength
Persistent and effective in planning and execution
Ability to work effectively across cultures
Strategic and systems-oriented thinking
Ability to quickly understand and adapt to complex business contexts
Strong team collaboration skills
Quality- and results-driven working style with a solution-oriented mindset
Ability to prioritize effectively and adapt to changing conditions
Ability to perform under pressure with a high level of commitment
Strong communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Power BI
Basic understanding of ERP systems, particularly SAP FI/CO
Fluent written and spoken English
Willingness and flexibility to travel as needed
