About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Collections Associate to join our Accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring customer accounts, collecting overdue payments, processing and applying incoming payments, resolving billing discrepancies, and keeping Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's accounts receivable records accurate. This position works closely with internal departments and customers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting while identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes.

Requirements

1-2 years of experience and/or training in collections, accounts receivable, customer service, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
