At Iceberg Actuarial in the B2B Actuarial Consulting Services space, Expert Actuarial Consulting for Strategic Business Growth and Risk Management.

We’re working with an established property & casualty insurance company serving the transportation industry to hire a strategic analyst who will help support key underwriting and business decisions in direct support of the COO. This role will assist with internal rate studies, rate filings, reserving reviews, ad hoc analysis, and evaluating future business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel skills, a strong understanding of actuarial concepts such as frequency and severity, progress toward CAS exams or a solid actuarial science foundation, and experience with R. Experience with commercial or personal auto insurance, regulatory filings, and reinsurance is strongly preferred. This is a great opportunity for a self-driven actuarial professional who wants meaningful exposure to the business.
