<p>As a QA Engineer supporting MIS teams, you will work across diverse business systems including SaaS platforms (NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, etc.), hosted solutions, and internally developed applications to ensure high quality output. This role requires a self-starter mentality and the ability to quickly learn new systems and requirements, including specialized testing for AI systems and Large Language Models (LLMs).</p>
<p>This role is ideal for someone who thrives on continuous learning, takes ownership of quality assurance processes, and can quickly become proficient with new applications and technical environments.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<h3><strong><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Test Strategy and Planning</span></strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for MIS systems and projects</li>
<li>Create detailed test plans and test cases for new features, enhancements, and integrations</li>
<li>Maintain QA best practices and standards across all platforms</li>
<li>Quickly adapt to and learn new systems, platforms, and business processes with minimal guidance</li>
<li>Proactively dig into requirements documentation to thoroughly understand system functionality</li>
</ul>
<h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Test Execution</strong></span></h3>
<ul>
<li>Perform thorough manual testing across the full spectrum of MIS applications and software</li>
<li>Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing</li>
<li>Perform specialized testing of AI systems including Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI, evaluating outputs for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business requirements</li>
<li>Conduct performance and load testing when necessary</li>
</ul>
<h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Automated Testing</strong></span></h3>
<ul>
<li>Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to appropriately support a variety of applications</li>
<li>Identify opportunities and implement test automation for repetitive testing scenarios</li>
<li>Continuously improve test automation coverage and efficiency</li>
</ul>
<h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Defect Management</strong></span></h3>
<ul>
<li>Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools</li>
<li>Analyze and document bugs and errors discovered during testing phases</li>
<li>Provide clear, detailed reproduction steps and supporting evidence for identified issues</li>
<li>Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues</li>
<li>Perform root cause analysis on critical bugs to prevent recurrence</li>
</ul>
<h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Cross-Platform Testing</strong></span></h3>
<ul>
<li>Test integrations between systems to ensure data consistency, data flow, and functionality</li>
<li>Verify end-to-end business processes that span multiple systems</li>
<li>Rapidly gain understanding of business workflows to provide meaningful QA feedback</li>
</ul>
<h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Reporting and Documentation</strong></span></h3>
<ul>
<li>Prepare detailed test reports and quality metrics for stakeholders</li>
<li>Maintain up-to-date test documentation, including test cases and procedures</li>
<li>Report test results in a clear, concise manner for both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li>
<li>Develop comprehensive test plans that align with business requirements</li>
</ul>
<h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Collaboration</strong></span></h3>
<ul>
<li>Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle</li>
<li>Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives as appropriate</li>
<li>Work closely with teams to resolve identified issues</li>
</ul>
<h3><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong></span></h3>
<ul>
<li>Stay updated on the latest QA methodologies, tools, and best practices</li>
<li>Propose and implement process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience</li>
<li>3+ years of experience in software quality assurance</li>
<li>Strong experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies across SaaS platforms (NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday, etc.)</li>
<li>Proficiency in at least one test automation framework (Copado Robotic Testing experience is a plus)</li>
<li>Working knowledge of programming/query languages (SOQL, SQL, Java, Python) and API testing tools like Postman</li>
<li>Experience with Jira for requirement and bug management</li>
<li>Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)</li>
<li>Understanding of testing approaches for AI systems, particularly for evaluating LLM outputs for accuracy and alignment with requirements</li>
<li>Experience with database testing and data integration validation</li>
<li>Familiarity with workflow automation tools (UiPath, Work-Relay is a plus)&nbsp;</li>
<li>Knowledge of security testing principles and best practices</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities</li>
<li>Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment</li>
<li>Self-motivated ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies with minimal supervision</li>
</ul>
<p>The base pay for this position ranges from $90,000 - $105,000, which will vary depending on how well an applicant's skills and experience align with the job description listed above.</p>
