<p>The Cloud Devops team at LivePerson is looking for a<strong> Junior DevOps Engineer</strong>: a candidate that takes on challenges, continuously expands his area of expertise and naturally takes ownership of his work. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, an eagerness to follow good practices and a desire to apply his skills in the field of DevOps.</p>

<p>We will provide you the grounds to succeed, an embracing working environment and very complex and interesting technical challenges to solve.</p>

<h3><strong>You Will: Key Responsibilities & Impact</strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, Terraform, Ansible, and Bash to streamline deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure and applications.</li>

<li>Collaborate closely with development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, create automation strategies, and deploy efficient solutions.</li>

<li>Utilize cloud technologies and services, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to architect and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure.</li>

<li>Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime</li>

</ul>

<h3><strong>You Have: Required Skills & Qualifications</strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.</li>

<li>Proven experience of 2 years  in Python programming with a focus on automation and scripting.</li>

<li>Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.</li>

<li>knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.</li>

<li>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.</li>

<li>Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.</li>

<li>Live within commutable distance to Dallas, Texas</li>

</ul>

<p>The salary range for this role will be between $90,000 - $110,000 USD. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to your location, skills, experience, education, and/or professional certifications.</p>
