<p>The Driver team is dedicated to fostering a platform of high-quality service by empowering drivers to perform their best. We are looking for a strategic product manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. In this role, you will identify and solve pain points that matter most to drivers by streamlining key interactions, reducing friction, and creating systems that feel intuitive, fair, and supportive. The ideal candidate brings high empathy, a strong analytical mindset, and a collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively across Lyft to deliver experiences that reflect our commitment to quality, transparency, and fairness.</p>

<h2><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h2>

<ul>

<li>Deeply understand driver and business needs to set an ambitious product vision that motivates and inspires your team, peers and leadership</li>

<li>Set your team's goals and success metrics that align with Lyft's mission and drive maximum impact based on data analysis, market research and user research</li>

<li>Build a product roadmap to achieve your goals and lead a core team of engineers, designers, data scientists, and marketers to execute on it.</li>

<li>Build alignment and collaborate with partner teams on shared goals and initiatives</li>

<li>Communicate roadmaps, priorities, experiments and decisions across a broad set of audiences from partner teams to executive levels</li>

<li>Completely own your team's products, existing or new, from ideation, through development, to launch, growth and maintenance</li>

</ul>

<h2><strong>Experience:</strong></h2>

<ul>

<li>3+ years in product management, product design or equivalent consultant experience with significant time spent leading consumer facing products </li>

<li><strong>Ability to make things happen</strong>: You manage project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized and structured way, and you are able to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of your products</li>

<li><strong>Customer obsessed</strong>: Strong user empathy and experience in the customer discovery and product development process </li>

<li><strong>Strong decision making</strong>: Experience building alignment and influencing decision making across org lines and with senior leadership; specifically showcasing strong judgment when balancing a flawless user experience and the needs of a two sided marketplace </li>

<li><strong>Strong communication</strong>: Skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level -- within teams, within Lyft, to users, and other audiences</li>

<li><strong>Detail oriented</strong>: Balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and requests should be second nature to you</li>

<p>Lyft highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. <p>The expected base pay range for this position in the Seattle area is $117,760 - $147,200, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
