The Future of Scalable Software Engineering (FoSSE) team in CoreAI, Microsoft, invites applications for postdoctoral researcher positions. FoSSE is an applied research team focused on solving real-world software engineering (SE) problems for large codebases, including code migration, code translation, and static analysis, using AI and formal methods. Our postdoc program provides an opportunity to work on practical research problems while collaborating closely with Microsoft researchers and product groups. Postdocs spend 1-2 years with us and receive ongoing guidance and mentoring from experienced colleagues. We work at the intersection of programming language design, formal methods, static analysis, and AI.
