At Portland Mental Health & Wellness, we are proud to primarily hire W-2 employees for the majority of our positions. This reflects our commitment to providing fair wages, benefits, and protections mandated by state labor laws, as well as ensuring the highest quality of care for our clients. However, we do offer opportunities for licensed therapists and psychiatric providers to join our team in a very part-time capacity as independent contractors (1099). These positions are specifically designed for evening and weekend availability, offering a flexible way to work with our organization while meeting the needs of clients during non-traditional hours. This initiative aligns with our mission to expand access to mental health services and serve our community while upholding our commitment to professionalism, integrity, and quality care.
