Account Director, West Coast, US Location: United States – West Coast About the Role Simetrik is seeking an Account Director, West Coast, US to accelerate our enterprise expansion in North America. In this strategic sales leadership role, you will drive the end-to-end sales motion with top enterprise clients in the financial and payments ecosystem on the West Coast, acting as a hunter and trusted advisor. You will be responsible for generating a high-quality pipeline, navigating and closing complex multi-stakeholder deals, and building deep, long-term relationships that establish Simetrik's position in the West Coast US market. What Does Success Look Like? Success in this role means you: Consistently generate, qualify, and manage a strong pipeline of Enterprise opportunities in the West Coast US market. Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from first contact through negotiation and signed contract, using a disciplined, methodical approach. Position Simetrik as a strategic partner and trusted advisor for senior decision makers in banks, fintechs, and enterprise clients across the West Coast. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Delivery, Partnerships, and Marketing to unlock and accelerate deals. Demonstrate measurable impact on pipeline velocity, new revenue, and the quality of deals. Impact & Scope Open and grow Simetrik's most important Enterprise accounts across the West Coast US region. Leverage your market knowledge, network, and expertise to position Simetrik against global and US-based competitors in financial automation and reconciliation. Influence Simetrik's go-to-market, pricing conversations, and account strategy on the West Coast as a leader in a core growth market. Represent Simetrik in high-stakes conversations with C-level and senior leaders across finance and payments industries on the West Coast. Expected Outcomes: 3-6 Month Milestones First 30 days Deeply understand Simetrik's product, value proposition, competitive landscape, and sales methodology. Get onboarded on internal tools, processes, and CRM. Map out key target segments, accounts, and initial entry points in the West Coast US market. 30 to 60 days Develop and validate a clear go-to-market and territory strategy for the West Coast. Build account plans for the top target accounts, identifying stakeholders and engagement hypotheses. Begin sourcing and nurturing a healthy pipeline of opportunities on the West Coast. 60 to 90 days Progress early opportunities into solutioning and proposal stages. Demonstrate pipeline movement, clear action plans, and rigorous deal management. Provide market feedback to internal teams to drive our product and GTM forward. In This Role, You Will Own the full West Coast US enterprise sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution design, negotiation, and closing. Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, delivering a high-quality experience throughout the journey. Build strong, multi-threaded relationships with senior stakeholders (CFOs, Heads of Finance, Operations, Product, etc.) on the West Coast. Design and execute account strategies balancing new business (hunting) and existing client expansion (farming). Apply structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC/MEDDPICC) with high CRM discipline (preferably Salesforce). Collaborate with Product, Professional Services, and Solutions to shape proposals and articulate Simetrik's value. Negotiate commercial terms and contracts to maximize value for both Simetrik and West Coast clients. Serve as a Simetrik ambassador in the West Coast market, gathering insights to inform our GTM and product strategy. Key Responsibilities Generate, qualify, and develop new enterprise opportunities in the West Coast US market. Maintain an organized, up-to-date pipeline with accurate revenue forecasting. Lead discovery, value, and solution conversations with multiple stakeholders in complex West Coast organizations. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and proposals tailored to each account. Navigate multi-threaded enterprise sales cycles, driving alignment among technical, business, and executive decision makers. Negotiate and close high-value contracts for long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. Ensure smooth client handover and onboarding by collaborating with internal teams. Track and report on sales metrics, continuously improving your strategy and execution. Must Have 10+ years of B2B sales experience, focusing on enterprise or upper mid-market clients. Proven track record as a hunter, generating pipeline and closing complex SaaS, fintech, or payments deals. Deep experience managing multi-stakeholder sales processes and long sales cycles. Strong negotiation, influence, and stakeholder management skills at the executive level. Demonstrated ability to build/maintain a disciplined pipeline with rigorous CRM usage (ideally Salesforce). Strong grasp of structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC/MEDDPICC) and experience applying them in practice. High autonomy, accountability, and self-motivation; comfortable with startup speed and ambiguity. Excellent communication skills—able to convey complex ideas clearly in conversations and writing. Strong collaborator, able to work across remote and cross-functional teams. Fluent/native English. Nice to Have Experience selling to banks, fintechs, payments, or financial institutions on the West Coast. Background in financial automation, reconciliation, ERP, or related enterprise software environments. Existing network of senior contacts in the West Coast US financial and payments industry. Experience in high-growth startups or scale-ups. Conversational Spanish to connect with colleagues and clients across North and Latin America. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). 10+ years of B2B sales experience, including several years managing enterprise/strategic accounts. Experience in SaaS, technology, fintech, payments, financial services, or adjacent sectors. Proven history of meeting/exceeding ambitious sales targets and closing high-value deals. Based on the West Coast US, with willingness to travel to client sites as needed. Fluent/native English (Spanish a strong plus).
