<p>We are building an elite team to drive financial insight and strategy at Stripe. The Finance &amp; Strategy team brings understanding and predictability to Stripe’s financials, and we work together with our key business partners to accelerate long term growth for Stripe.</p>
<h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Partner with F&amp;S and Business Leaders to drive the long-term success of Stripe</li>
<li>Work cross functionally to identify important strategy questions and answer them with data</li>
<li>Build financial forecasts and targets, track performance, and understand deviations from actuals to drive strategy and operational rigor</li>
<li>Gain deep knowledge and understanding of Stripe's business performance across geographies and user segments</li>
<li>Define metrics and leading indicators of business performance and partner with the Analytics team to develop tools and dashboards to make these metrics widely accessible across Stripe</li>

<p><strong>Who you are</strong></p>
<p>We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.</p>
<h3><strong>Minimum requirements</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>7–14 years of experience in a relevant analytical or finance role</li>
<li>Intermediate (at a minimum) or advanced knowledge of SQL or Python is required - you must be well versed working with extremely large and complex datasets + extracting insights</li>
<li>Experience with financial analysis, financial forecasting, BvA (variance analysis), and other financial concepts</li>
<li>Experience working on ambiguous problems and driving solutions/projects independently</li>
<li>Ability to automate and use AI to streamline recurring tasks/analyses, in order to free up time to work on more strategic and higher impact work</li>
<li>Experience building dashboards and data visualization tools from scratch</li>
<li>A proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partners and department leads. You are seen as a trusted and objective advisor</li>
<li>An enthusiastic "roll up your sleeves" mentality</li>
<li>A proven ability to be a self-starter capable of driving business results without significant supervision</li>
<li>Experience working in a global capacity (this team will work will all regions)</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Preferred qualifications</strong></h3>
<p><em>Experience in a strategic finance function at a high-growth tech company, preferably in the payments/fintech space</em></p>
