<h3><strong>About the team</strong></h3>

<p>The IAM Control Plane team’s mission is to empower Stripe users to easily and securely manage their access to Stripe products and data. As part of Stripe's Organizations and Auth Platform, we own the platform for API keys, user roles, and access auditing, ensuring the right people have the keys to the kingdom - and no one else. We are a team of around 10 engineers with an ambitious roadmap, blending deep platform work with direct product impact.</p>

<h2><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h2>

<p>You will design, build, and maintain the critical systems that control our user’s access to Stripe.</p>

<h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3>

<ul>

<li>Design and build the next generation of IAM primitives to securely power AI-driven agentic experiences on Stripe</li>

<li>Develop new user-facing permission models, including custom roles and granular access controls</li>

<li>Architect and implement platform features like Account Groups to simplify access management for large organizations</li>

<li>Own and operate mission-critical, highly-available backend services that are fundamental to every Stripe user's experience</li>
