<p>Self Serve Direct Onboarding helps businesses start using Stripe’s products quickly and confidently. The team builds self-service experiences that guide users through providing business information and completing required checks. We turn complex financial, regulatory, and verification requirements into clear steps, shaping both how quickly businesses can get started and the trust they place in Stripe.</p>

<p>At the heart of this work is a shared product activation experience: a consistent way for businesses to start using new financial capabilities as they grow. This foundation helps users avoid repeating information and makes it simpler for product teams to integrate onboarding into their offerings.</p>

<p>AI creates an opportunity to rethink how businesses get started on Stripe. The team is designing onboarding journeys for users who interact directly through a user interface, work with AI agents, or delegate onboarding to agents entirely. We’re improving today’s experience while building the foundations for agent-led onboarding.</p>
