The Dermot The Dermot Company is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician. Reporting to the General Manager, the maintenance technician will work with the property team to uphold the community’s aesthetic and ensure a safe living environment for the residents. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Ryder Place - Quaye location. The primary work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm, plus availability for emergency on-call responsibilities as required.

Requirements

Routinely inspect building mechanical systems (e.g., air conditioning and boilers) and equipment to ensure proper performance and maintenance
Perform all services in compliance with Dermot policies and procedures, safety and health regulations, and applicable laws (e.g., Fair Housing Laws)
Effectively communicate and collaborate with the maintenance team; report all issues to the Resident Manager/General Manager
Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed
Complete preventative maintenance to enhance the safety and management of the property and reduce risks and emergencies
Assist in maintaining records of scheduled maintenance procedures
Complete and participate in training as needed
Complete projects and tasks assigned by the Resident Manager and General Manager
