Most Loved Workplace® Certified JobAbout the Role
At Valiant Integrated Services , a Most Loved Workplace® certified employer in the Defence & Military space, Empowering the world's most critical missions through training, expertise, and global support..
The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) is a Department of Defense combat support agency and a member of the U.S. Intelligence Community. DIA's core mission is to provide all-source military intelligence — synthesizing information from signals, human, imagery, and open-source collection to support warfighters, combat commanders, and national-level policymakers. DIA employs approximately 16,500 military and civilian personnel and supports operations through various locations including the Defense Intelligence Analysis Center (DIAC) at Bolling Air Force Base, the Pentagon, and Defense Attaché offices at U.S. embassies worldwide. DIA's focus is specifically military intelligence, understanding adversarial military capabilities, intentions, and order of battle. DIA supports Combatant Commands, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Secretary of Defense with strategic intelligence, among other roles. DIA offers two paths for employment: direct hire (federal civilian) and contractor roles. Direct hire civilians are paid under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS), which offers broader salary ranges and more flexibility for performance-based increases compared to the standard GS pay scale. DIA also employs a large contractor workforce in analytical, technical, and mission-support roles. All DIA positions require a minimum of TS/SCI clearance, with polygraph requirements varying by position.
