About Xtrac

ManufacturingFounded 1984

Xtrac is a leader in its market and is pioneering the development of transmission system technology as the automotive industry decarbonises with the transition from internal combustion engine powered technology vehicles through to hybridisation and electrification across Motorsport and High Performance Automotive. At our Thatcham UK site we have in house engineering design capability along with high value manufacturing, assembly and testing​ facilities, and at our two US locations in Indianapolis and Mooresville we also have assembly, testing and extensive track support for our US based customers. We have a global customer base and we are proudly the sole supplier for a number of motorsports including British Touring Car, NASCAR & INDYCAR​. Back in July 2023, the US based private equity firm Middleground acquired Xtrac.
