<p>We are seeking  a highly skilled Sales Revenue Analyst to join our team in Boston, MA or New York, NY. Your role will involve providing critical support and vision to our revenue team by overseeing the meticulous calculation of global sales team commissions and accurate recognition of new business revenue as we strategically expand into new markets and drive revenue growth. </p>

<p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Spearhead the strategic ownership, iterative refinement, and optimization of monthly commission strategies across diverse verticals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and driving performance excellence from our Go-to-Market motion </li>

<li>Lead the conceptualization and execution of innovative, cross-functional solutions aimed at scaling Sales Revenue operations to new heights of efficiency and effectiveness</li>

<li>Collaborate on the customization of analytical frameworks to evaluate the business impact of existing incentive-based compensation plans, delivering actionable insights to enhance refinement and improvement efforts </li>

<li>Conduct comprehensive analysis of the Deal Close process to ensure the efficacy and soundness of new commercial sales. Meticulously review deal structures, financial terms, and product pricing with precision</li>

<li>Establish and maintain a robust reporting infrastructure for core sales processes, encompassing quota allocation, compensation plans, coverage and territory management, and real-time performance monitoring to drive informed decision-making.</li>

<li>Partner with Strategy and Growth teams in the development of scalable sales compensation structures and initiatives, fostering alignment with board-level growth objectives</li>

<li>Grow your technical and functional expertise in Salesforce and auxiliary SaaS systems including: Tableau, CaptivateIQ, Jira, Clari, Confluence</li>

<li>Forge close partnerships with Datadog’s senior leadership to evaluate, design, and operationalize transformative sales strategy programs, fostering organizational agility and competitive advantage</li>

<li>Contribute to strategic planning and process improvement initiatives aimed at elevating the quality and architecture of product usage, revenue, and CRM dashboards, thereby enhancing operational rigor and unlocking advanced reporting capabilities</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Who You Are:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>2-4 years of experience in revenue, sales operations, FP&A, business analyst or consulting roles demonstrating a solid foundation in finance and business principles</li>

<li>Advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze large data sets, enabling effective management and analysis of large datasets with precision and accuracy</li>

<li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to swiftly establish trust, credibility, and influence across diverse stakeholders</li>

<li>Familiarity with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business models, showcasing an understanding of recurring revenue dynamics and subscription-based businesses</li>

<li>Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, showcasing adept problem-solving skills and analytical prowess</li>

<li>Excellent interpersonal skills, with a track record of effectively presenting to teams of diverse functions and hierarchical levels, fostering collaboration and understanding </li>

<li>Proven capability in project ownership and delivery, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to manage stakeholders, coordinate activities, and prioritize tasks, ensuring successful project outcomes</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Bonus Points:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Experience working with compensation & business automation tools </li>

<li>Prior experience in a high-growth<strong> </strong>SaaS company and/or multi-national public company,demonstrating adaptability and ability to thrive in dynamic environments</li>

<li>Familiarity with SaaS company economics, deal structuring, and revenue models, indicating a comprehensive understanding of subscription-based business models. </li>

<li>Experience working in Mac OS</li>

<li>Proficiency in  Salesforce CRM, Google Sheets, and Jira</li>

<li>Familiarity with Tableau, Metabase, and (or) other business intelligence systems</li>

<li>Experience with advanced analytics to deliver forecasts and/or intuitive models</li>

<li>Previous experience in client-facing role or working with C-suite executives</li>
