<p>We are building out Finance business operations to drive disciplined execution of both organic and inorganic initiatives, including M&A integration, strategic programs (AVs, Luxury), and other new product initiatives (NPIs). This is a strategy-to-execution role that requires strong judgment, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to drive outcomes in ambiguous, high-stakes environments. </p>

<p>We are seeking a high-impact Finance BizOps leader to sit at the center of this effort, owning finance integration execution (in partnership with Lyft’s Corp Dev IMO), NPI financial readiness, and the intake/governance layer that connects Finance to Lyft’s most strategic initiatives. This role is the operating backbone for Finance – ensuring acquisitions integrate seamlessly, new products launch cleanly, and Finance work is prioritized with rigor and transparency. </p>

<p>As Lyft scales, the volume and complexity of strategic initiatives—M&A, new products, and cross-functional programs—continues to increase.</p>

<p>This role establishes a centralized operating model that ensures:</p>

<ul>

<li>Strategic initiatives are executed with discipline and completeness</li>

<li>Finance is embedded early and effectively ensuring strong planning to execution across multiple teams to deliver strong customer and business results</li>

<li>The organization scales without accumulating operational debt or technical debt</li>

</ul>

<h2><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h2>

<ul>

<li><strong>Strategic program Readiness</strong> 

<ul>

<li>Act as the central Finance lead for new product initiatives and large strategic programs </li>

<li>Build strong working relationships with key product and business leaders and stay “in the know” on planned launches </li>

<li>Partner with Finance SMEs, Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to ensure:

<ul>

<li>Financial workflows and requirements are defined </li>

<li>Systems, processes, and finance stakeholders are ready for launch</li>

<li>Risks and tradeoffs are surfaced early</li>

</ul>

</li>

<li>Translate ambiguous product requirements into clear Finance implications and execution plans</li>

<li>Track implementation and establish Finance governance to enable global launch and scalability </li>

<li>Drive alignment and decision-making across stakeholders</li>

<li>Help ensure launches do not create downstream operational or technical debt</li>

</ul>

</li>

<li><strong>Finance M&A Integration</strong>

<ul>

<li>Support end-to-end Finance integration across global acquisitions, from Finance integration strategy during diligence to post-close integration</li>

<li>Partner with Corp Dev IMO, Product and Finance leadership to:

<ul>

<li>Understand product integration plans and identify impacts on Finance processes, systems, and org</li>

<li>Define Finance integration strategy and scope</li>

<li>Build integrated finance roadmaps with clear dependencies and critical path</li>

<li>Stand up governance, reporting, and escalation frameworks</li>

<li>Prepare and lead leadership readouts on Finance integration status of deals in scope</li>

</ul>

</li>

<li>Drive cross-functional execution across Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, etc; manage key dependencies with IT/Systems, HR, and Legal</li>

<li>Implement and manage synergy tracking and value realization mechanisms</li>

<li>Codify repeatable finance integration playbooks to improve speed, quality, and predictability</li>

</ul>

</li>

<li><strong>Program Leadership & Execution</strong>

<ul>

<li>Act as the control tower across concurrent initiatives and Ensure the right work is resourced and sequenced appropriately across teams</li>

<li>Drive execution across multiple complex, cross-functional programs simultaneously</li>

<li>Build and manage integrated plans, milestones, and KPIs</li>

<li>Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks</li>

<li>Hold teams accountable while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships</li>

<li>Ensure high-quality documentation, decision logs, and scalable processes</li>

<li>Centralization and coordination for Finance-related initiatives (M&A, NPIs, strategic projects)

<ul>

<li>Define criteria (impact, risk, effort, strategic alignment)</li>

<li>Provide visibility into pipeline and tradeoffsFacilitate prioritization discussions with Finance leadership</li>

</ul>

</li>

</ul>

</li>

<li><strong>Operating Model & Capability Building</strong>

<ul>

<li>Help stand up and evolve the Finance bizops function and define best practices and processes for:

<ul>

<li>M&A Integration governance</li>

<li>NPI Finance engagement model</li>

<li>Cross-functional operating rhythms</li>

</ul>

</li>

<li>Introduce structure without slowing teams down—balancing rigor with speed</li>

<li>Build repeatable frameworks that scale with company growth</li>

</ul>

</li>

</ul>

<h2 class="p1"><strong>Experience:</strong></h2>

<ul>

<li>5+ years in BizOps, Finance Ops, Product Ops, or Consulting</li>

<li>Direct experience in M&A integration, large-scale program management, or product launches</li>

<li>Strong understanding of Finance functions (Accounting, FP&A, Treasury) and financial workflows (QTC, rev rec, billing); BS in Accounting/Finance preferred</li>

<li>Ability to operate in ambiguity and drive clarity across senior stakeholders</li>

<li>Proven track record of driving execution across cross-functional teams, across Finance, Business, and Technical teams</li>

<li>Strong systems thinking—understanding how processes, systems, and people connect</li>

<li>Exceptional communication and executive presence</li>

</ul>

<p>The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $132,000 - $165,000, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
