<p>Our core corporate finance functions are critical to Lyft’s success.  The health and sustainability of our applications, systems, tooling and processes are critical for daily operations and for Lyft’s ability to grow.  The Oracle EPM Engineer possesses both business and technical acumen. This engineering role provides support for Lyft’s Corporate consolidations systems, managing their daily performance and incidents, creating automated workflows, building customer solutions, configuring applications, providing end user training and protecting all system related information assets. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your deep expertise in FCCS, ARCS, Data Exchange and EDMCS to drive innovation across our financial consolidation, reporting, reconciliation, and planning processes. Working at the intersection of finance, technology, and strategy, you'll collaborate with key stakeholders to architect solutions that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance while positioning our organization for continued growth and adaptability in a dynamic business environment.</p>

<h2>Responsibilities:</h2>

<ul>

<li><strong>Strategic Leadership & Expertise</strong>

<ul>

<li>Lead all aspects of the front-end administration of the FCCS, ARCS, Data Exchange, EDMCS systems including maintaining metadata, rules, forms, developing reports, creating locations, mappings, and granting user access.</li>

<li>Serve as the support person and subject matter expert for FCCS, Data Exchange and ARCS configurations, setting technical standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives</li>

<li>Strong understanding of complex EPM implementation projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery while exceeding stakeholder expectations</li>

</ul>

</li>

<li><strong>Advanced System Configuration & Development</strong>

<ul>

<li>Design and implement sophisticated FCCS business rules, including translation override rules, complex intercompany eliminations, and custom calculation rules that automate and streamline financial consolidation processes. Develop reports, books and bursting definitions in Management and Narrative reporting</li>

<li>Architect advanced ARCS reconciliation frameworks with customized profiles, data loads and automated workflows that significantly reduce manual effort and improve accuracy</li>

<li>Manage the integration of Oracle EDMCS with Oracle ERP Cloud, EPM Cloud, and other enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow across the organization. </li>

<li><strong>Integration & Performance Optimization</strong>

<ul>

<li>Design and support seamless data integration between EPM modules and enterprise systems, ensuring reliable, automated data flows that maintain data integrity. </li>

<li>Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, implementing innovative solutions that enhance scalability and processing efficiency</li>

<li>Lead technical issue resolution across the EPM landscape, applying advanced troubleshooting methodologies to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions</li>

</ul>

</li>

<li><strong>Stakeholder Partnership & Knowledge Leadership</strong>

<ul>

<li>Partner closely with Finance and Accounting leadership to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions that drive measurable improvements. </li>

<li>Develop comprehensive documentation and knowledge transfer protocols that enhance organizational understanding and adoption of EPM solutions</li>

</ul>

</li>

</ul>

<h2>Experience:</h2>

<ul>

<li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred</li>

<li>5+ years of progressive experience with Oracle EPM applications, demonstrating depth in FCCS and ARCS implementation and administration</li>

<li>Proven expertise in designing and deploying enterprise-scale consolidation applications, reconciliation frameworks, and data integration solutions</li>

<li>Strong understanding of EDMCS architecture and governance principles with practical implementation experience</li>

<li>Advanced knowledge of financial accounting principles related to consolidation and close processes.</li>

<li>Experience with SQL, Groovy scripting, EPM Automate or equivalent technical languages for custom solution development</li>

<li><strong>Advanced Skills</strong>

<ul>

<li>Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with demonstrated ability to architect complex solutions for enterprise-level challenges</li>

<li>Superior communication and interpersonal skills, adept at conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences including executive leadership</li>

<li>Strong project management discipline with track record of successful, on-time deliveries in complex, matrix environments</li>

<li>Ability to anticipate future business needs and proactively design scalable solutions that accommodate organizational growth</li>

</ul>

</li>

<li><strong>Preferred Attributes</strong>

<ul>

<li>Oracle EPM Cloud certifications</li>

<li>Experience implementing and administering FCCS, ARCS and EDMCS for large, publicly traded companies</li>

<li>Experience with Oracle applications (ERP Cloud, BI, Data Management)</li>

<li>Background in multinational, multi-currency financial environments</li>

<li>Experience in regulated industries with complex compliance requirements</li>

</ul>

<p>The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is CAD $102,000 - CAD $127,500, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
