<p>The Govtech team builds rich and creative features that set the standard for the ride sharing industry. We are seeking a highly motivated, mid-career software engineer to contribute to the development of features that facilitate Lyft's entry into new markets, ensure Lyft's adherence to local regulatory requirements, and utilize the latest AI technologies to enhance the user experience. Ownership is a key quality for this team; this person should be driven to track a project to successful completion and beyond, taking initiative to work with other teams and functions to ensure the code they write reaches users and drives impact.&nbsp;</p>

<p>As a Software Engineer for Govtech, you’ll be responsible for executing integrations with partners, making tradeoffs between technical investments and product work, and collaborating with other engineers on system design. You will help shape the product direction by developing a deep understanding of the customer and working closely with cross-functional partners from Product, Design, Science, and Operations. You will work with a group of talented engineers and help the team to deliver significant business impact. If you enjoy collaborating with technical and nontechnical partners in a fast-moving space with real-world impact, this is the role for you.</p>
