St Edward’s, or Teddies as we are affectionately known, is an inspiring place to work. We are a friendly and supportive community where ambition and hard work are rewarded. We have a growing school roll, exceptional new facilities and last year achieved the best exam results in our history. Our beautiful quad is surrounded by 100 acres of green space in north Oxford, minutes from the city centre by bus. We have over 800 boys and girls in the school, 85% of whom are boarders living in our 13 boarding houses. Our committed staff of around 120 teachers and 400 support staff together deliver an excellent education, academically and in co-curricular opportunities, with the best in personal development and pastoral care. This involves a tremendous team effort but is equally rewarding in the huge satisfaction of working with enthusiastic and talented children to achieve amazing results. Renowned for its friendliness and warm welcome, Teddies is a very social place with lots of enjoyable events in the school calendar for staff and their families as well as for pupils.
