About the Role

Perform monthly, quarterly and yearly reconciliations of all AP and AR liability and asset accounts as required by OFM. Provide assistance in interpreting accounting information to agency staff. Ensure compliance with generally accepted governmental accounting and auditing standards. Prepare journal vouchers to make internal transfers, adjustments, and oversee & prepare monthly/quarterly consolidated supplemental detail in support of monthly financial reports including ad hoc reports and analyses of division.

Requirements

18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting subjects.
Bachelor’s degree in the field of finance, accounting or business with at least 30 quarter hours (20 semester hours) of accounting and/or finance courses.
Washington State budgeting and accounting related processes experience.
