The Partner Enablement Operations Manager is a senior operator and builder responsible for designing and running a scalable, predictable, and data-driven operating model for partner enablement at Databricks.

This role serves as the operational backbone and strategic integrator for partner enablement, connecting global strategy to the execution across AMER, EMEA, and APJ regions while ensuring programs are delivered consistently, efficiently, and at scale.

The ideal candidate brings strong executive presence, systems thinking, and a bias for automation. They know how to reduce operational friction, build governance that scales, and introduce AI-enabled workflows that improve responsiveness without adding unnecessary complexity or headcount.

We are looking for a builder who can architect operating systems and drive scalability and excellence for the future.

What You’ll Do

Own the partner enablement operating model, including core planning cadences, governance mechanisms, and execution frameworks that connect strategy to execution.

Run QBRs, MBRs, and executive reviews for partner enablement leadership, using clear metrics and forward-looking insights to drive accountability and decision-making.

Lead end-to-end execution of partner enablement initiatives, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are managed effectively across functions and regions.

Build and maintain dashboards and operating reviews that surface partner engagement, program performance, risk signals, and areas requiring intervention.

Act as a key point of contact for cross-regional operational issues and escalations, resolving immediate friction while converting recurring issues into structural improvements.

Design and implement scalable workflows, SOPs, SLAs, and intake mechanisms that improve consistency, reduce manual effort, and create a better experience for internal stakeholders and partners.

Introduce AI-enabled and automation-first workflows for intake, reporting, support, certification, and partner operations where they can safely improve speed, quality, and scale.

Collaborate closely with the Partner organization, Learning and Enablement, Professional Services, and other cross-functional teams to remove friction and improve execution across the partner ecosystem.

Partner closely with the broader operations business to drive cross-functional leverage of ideas and excellence, ensuring new methods and operational innovations are scaled beyond just partner operations.

Establish clear ownership models, decision rights, and governance guardrails to support regional nuance without creating shadow processes or operational inconsistencies.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Learning Operations, Program Management, Professional Services Operations, or a related operational leadership field in a high-growth technology environment.

Proven experience supporting global or multi-region teams and translating central strategy into executable operating plans.

Preferred experience in the Data & AI space, with a strong understanding of Databricks' platform capabilities, key differentiators, and end-to-end solutions, and the ability to work effectively with technical stakeholders.

Demonstrated ownership of operating cadence, forecasting, planning, and execution frameworks in a complex, matrixed environment.

Strong analytical capability and the ability to turn data into executive insight, operational decisions, and measurable business outcomes.

Experience improving processes and workflows, with a clear track record of reducing manual effort and increasing scale through automation or AI-enabled solutions.

Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence senior leaders across functions without direct authority.

Ability to work independently, manage priorities across time zones, and drive execution in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

Must be open to working a flexible schedule, including frequent late hours to accommodate discussions with the broader enablement team and partner liaisons, the majority of whom are based in the AMER timezone.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in partner enablement, customer education, learning operations, or training operations.

Deep expertise working with and for System Integrators (SIs) and ISVs, with a strong grasp of their core operational principles and business models.

Fluency with AI tools, workflow automation, and analytics platforms used to streamline operations and generate actionable insights.

Strong commercial and operational acumen, including comfort with utilization, forecasting, partner spend, margin thinking, or RevOps-aligned execution.

Experience operating in a highly matrixed international environment with sensitivity to regional and cultural nuance.

Why Join Us

You will play a central role in shaping how partner enablement scales at Databricks.

This is a high-visibility role with meaningful impact, offering the opportunity to build a more efficient, governed, and AI-enabled operating model that helps our partner ecosystem grow with the business.

If you enjoy turning ambiguity into structure, building systems that remove friction, and helping teams scale through better operations rather than more manual work, this role is for you.

Success Metrics

Operational Predictability: Build a disciplined partner enablement operating cadence where risks are surfaced early and execution is measurable and consistent.

Stakeholder Experience and Self-Sufficiency: Increase the percentage of standard partner enablement requests handled through structured, low-touch, or self-service workflows.

Escalation Management and Process Resilience: Reduce recurring operational friction by improving escalation handling, clarifying ownership, and improving systemic resolution of recurring issues.

Scalable Execution: Improve throughput, consistency, and delivery quality across global partner enablement programs without relying on incremental manual work.

AI-Enabled Transformation: Deploy practical AI-enabled workflows that improve speed, visibility, and efficiency across intake, reporting, support, and partner operations.

Why This Is a Most Loved Workplace® Certified Job
Systemic Collaboration
As Databricks continues our rapid growth, we strive to maintain a culture as open and transparent as it was in Databricks’s early days. Making sure employees have regular access to our CEO and co-founders to hear directly about our vision and priorities helps our employees forge a connection between Databricks priorities and their daily work.
Positive Vision for the Future
Databricks’ culture principles are derived from an internal study of the behaviors that have led to high impact work at Databricks. These values have a direct impact on company culture and play a large part in connecting teams across the organization. We believe in being customer-obsessed, truth-seeking, operating from first principles, having a bias for action, and putting Databricks first. Our co-founders are fully involved in day-to-day operations, including business and technical reviews, working alongside our team members to ensure that we are always aligned with our values.
Alignment of Values
Databricks’ CEO and Co-founder, Ali Ghodsi leads by example with a focus on truth-seeking and first principles thinking, two of Databricks’ core values that stay true to Databricks’s origins in academia. He champions the importance of data and reason to question biases and inform decisions. Ali remains hands-on with research and development and hosts company-wide weekly all hands, with a CEO “ask me anytime” session at the beginning of every agenda. His transparency and accessibility are core to the open and collaborative culture of Databricks.
Respect
At Databricks, we cultivate an environment where all employees can bring their unique selves and are empowered to do the best work of their careers. To ensure all voices are heard and ideas are valued, we conduct annual culture and pulse surveys and host all-hands Q&As to collect feedback from all employees. We then report back to Databricks on the specific changes implemented from the feedback collected to ensure employees feel heard and that their feedback is valued. In addition, we invest in our seven Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that offer support and employee engagement events for individuals from underrepresented backgrounds and allies.
Killer Outcomes
Databricks prioritizes offering an exceptional employee experience by investing in tools, workspaces, and community-building. Our collaboration-first, hybrid model offers flexibility with in-person touchpoints like our annual employee kickoff, weekly CEO all-hands with happy hours, and monthly team building budgets. We are especially focused on maintaining a culture of transparency, honesty, and trust, with leaders actively engaging across channels like Slack and all hands while also championing inclusion efforts through ERG sponsorship. These initiatives help our team feel connected, valued, and empowered to do their best work.
