<p>The Test Engineering team at Harbinger Motors is involved in the validation and reliability testing at the vehicle, sub-system, and component levels. The team is looking for someone who has 5+ years of experience with reliability metrics and calculations as well as hands-on reliability testing. This key team member will have ownership of developing reliability test profiles for various vehicle systems and hardware.</p>

<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Work closely with the product design engineers to ensure that products can meet desired life targets</li>

<li>Perform reliability calculations and develop detailed test-plans for accelerated lifecycle tests</li>

<li>Lead the execution of reliability tests </li>

<li>Lead root cause analysis of test failures and/or field failures</li>

<li>Support cross-functional DFMEA sessions</li>

<li>Travel to offsite test locations as needed (<30%)</li>

<li>Work with cross-functional teams to develop in-house test infrastructure required to test and validate various systems and components</li>

<li>Train personnel on the required processes and operations of complex test systems</li>

<li>Ensure that all tests are conducted in compliance with all safety protocols</li>

<li>Document the results in a report and present it to stakeholders</li>

<li>Participate in discussions with suppliers, supplier quality team, and design team to improve product reliability</li>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in either Engineering or Material Science with 5+ years of industry experience in the field of reliability</li>

<li>Experience with performing reliability calculations and developing test profiles</li>

<li>Experience with hands-on testing of either PCBAs, battery, or thermal systems</li>

<li>Experience with coding languages and applications for data analysis, such as Python or Matlab</li>

<li>Good technical writing skills for documenting test reports</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Familiarity with EV powertrain architecture and associated HV devices, such as DCDC converters, on-board chargers, junction boxes, inverters,  battery, thermal systems, etc.</li>

<li>Experience with data analytics and visualization relevant to product reliability</li>

<li>Experience with HV testing</li>
