<p><strong>About the Role</strong><br>We are looking for a CSA Engineer to join our growing Design and Delivery team. You'll act as the technical authority for Civil, Structural and Architectural systems and interfaces across the START Campus data center portfolio — supporting projects from concept design through commissioning and handover, and working closely with Design, Construction, Commissioning, Operations and external consultants to ensure successful delivery and long-term asset reliability.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br><strong>Design & Engineering</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Review and validate civil, structural and architectural designs for data center facilities.</li>

<li>Ensure compliance with project requirements, design standards, local regulations and industry best practices.</li>

<li>Review technical drawings, specifications, calculations and design reports.</li>

<li>Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces between CSA, Mechanical, Electrical and Controls systems.</li>

<li>Support value engineering and constructability reviews.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Construction Management</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Monitor CSA construction activities to ensure quality, safety and compliance with approved designs.</li>

<li>Conduct site inspections and technical audits.</li>

<li>Review contractor submittals, RFIs, method statements and material approvals.</li>

<li>Track construction progress and identify risks affecting schedule, quality or cost.</li>

<li>Support issue resolution during construction and site execution.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Structural Engineering</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Review structural calculations and designs for mission-critical facilities.</li>

<li>Assess structural capacity for equipment loads, rooftop installations and future expansion requirements.</li>

<li>Support investigations of structural defects and remediation strategies.</li>

<li>Ensure compliance with seismic, wind and resilience design criteria where applicable.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Architectural & Building Systems</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Oversee architectural systems including the building envelope, roofing systems, raised floors, internal finishes, fire-rated assemblies and access control interfaces.</li>

<li>Ensure building integrity and environmental performance requirements are achieved.</li>

<li>Support waterproofing, corrosion protection and durability programs.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Commissioning & Handover</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Support CSA commissioning activities and inspections.</li>

<li>Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (where applicable), Site Acceptance Tests and Integrated Systems Testing.</li>

<li>Verify completion of punch-list items and closeout activities.</li>

<li>Review as-built documentation and turnover packages.</li>

<li>Support operational readiness and facility handover processes.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Asset Lifecycle Management</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Support condition assessments and lifecycle planning for CSA assets.</li>

<li>Support the development of the maintenance and inspection strategies.</li>

<li>Participate in root cause analysis investigations involving CSA-related failures.</li>

<li>Identify opportunities to improve reliability, maintainability and operational efficiency.</li>

</ul>

<p><br><strong>What We're Looking For</strong><br><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering.</li>

<li>Registration with Ordem dos Engenheiros, or an international equivalent, is a plus.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Experience</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>5-8+ years of experience in civil, structural or architectural engineering, ideally on large-scale industrial, mission-critical or data center projects.</li>

<li>Experience reviewing structural calculations, contractor submittals, RFIs and material approvals.</li>

<li>Exposure to commissioning processes (FAT/SAT/IST) and facility handover.</li>

<li>Experience with condition assessments and asset lifecycle planning is a plus.</li>

</ul>

<p><strong>Skills & mindset</strong></p>

<ul>

<li>Strong technical judgment across civil, structural and architectural disciplines.</li>

<li>Comfortable coordinating multidisciplinary interfaces with Mechanical, Electrical and Controls teams.</li>

<li>Confident conducting site inspections and technical audits.</li>

<li>Clear, structured communicator with strong documentation discipline.</li>

</ul>
